Route ALL Softstart wires into electrical box, then Crimp Disconnects on the SoftstartRV wires as shown in SoftstartRV box above.

Step 1) Follow the White compressor wire to the Run Capacitor. Disconnect the White wire and connect it to the Blue SoftstartRV wire.

Step 2) Connect the Black SoftstartRV wire on the terminal the white wire was on.

Step 3) Disconnect the single Red wire Next to the PTCR. Connect the Yellow SoftstartRV wire on the terminal the red wire was on.

Step 4) Disconnect the Red wire from PTCR and then Disconnect the PTCR and keep it somewhere you will remember where you put it. Then connect the same Red wire on the terminal the PTCR was on.

Step 5) Follow the Black compressor wire to the Pressure switch relay and disconnect from relay. Now Connect the Red SoftstartRV wire to the same Pressure switch relay where you just removed the black wire.

Step 6) Disconnect the Black fan wire from the compressor and connect it to the male side of the piggyback terminal you attached to the red wire earlier.

Before turning the power back on, secure wires to prevent the fan from pulling them in.

Turn Power and A/C breaker on, Turn Fan on Hi until you hear it running, Turn A/C to Auto Cool set Thermostat to 55 degrees.

Go look at the SoftstartRV for a Green light (There may be a full 3 min delay before the

Green light comes on).

If the GREEN Light is on, then turn the power and A/C off, replace all the covers and turn the A/C back on allowing it to run for approximately 30 minutes at about 2 degrees below the outside temperature letting it cycle a few times.

IF no Green Light comes on after 4 minutes shut the A/C down and contact Tech Support, www.softstartrv.com/support and fill out a ticket.
